At least three people are dead after a bus collided with another vehicle in a Sunday night crash on a stretch of Interstate 81 in Pennsylvania.
Several other passengers on the bus, which was carrying 45-50 people, were also critically injured in the collision, officials said.
The bus was travelling through the Lower Paxton Township of Dauphin County when it hit another passenger vehicle and overturned at around 11.49pm. Pictures from the scene show it came to a halt on its side at a roadside berm.
Trooper Megan Frazer said: ‘Multiple passengers on the bus are deceased. Multiple people have been transported to Hershey Medical center for varying injuries.’
The identities of the casualties have not been released and police are currently working to inform their next of kin.
